Rajasthan Women Writer’s Meet starts at MLSU
‘Bhawnao Se Aage Samta Ki Chunauti’, a two-day Rajasthan Women Writer’s meet organized by Rajasthan Literature Academy, started today at the seminar hall of the University College of Social Sciences and Humanities.
‘Bhawnao Se Aage Samta Ki Chunauti’, a two-day Rajasthan Women Writer’s meet organized by Rajasthan Literature Academy, started today at the seminar hall of the University College of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dr. Kamla Beniwal, Governor, Gujarat and I. V Trivedi, Vice Chancellor, MLSU. Prof. Trivedi welcomed the Governor by handing presenting bouquet.
Ramnika Gupta was the keynote speaker of the occasion. In her speech, giving the example of Meera, she said, “Since the ancient times women are considered as subordinate and inferior to men. Women’s rights are always suppressed and marginalized in the patriarchal society”.
Ved Vyas, President, Literature Academy, said, “This meet will be a memorable event. This will help our young and energetic women writers to develop new thoughts and understanding in the society”.
Governor of Gujarat, Dr. Kamla Beniwal said, “Women are considered to be gentle and sensitive, but at the same time they are also known for their determination, courage and hard work. The amalgamation of women and literature is very important and worth appreciation”.
