Filly, Tej Roop from Kelwa Stud Farm (Kelwa), Rajsamand received 3 Gold medals at the Malinath Ji Animal Fair organized by All India Marwari Horse Society at Tilwara Fair Ground, Barmer on 22 ^nd March. Gaurav Kelwa from Kelwa Stud Farm said, “There were 50 Marwari horses from Rajasthan, Gujarat and Punjab that participated in the competition. Tej Roop won “two teeth” and “Lalo ka Lal” categories and was also declared as the Best Horse of the Fair.” Stallion Jai and broodmare Shri Laxmi from Fateh Stud Farm, Kelwa, Rajsamand received silver medals. Anant Singh Rathore from Fateh Stud Farm said that the judging criteria for horses were according to the type of breed and its physical characteristics. There are more than 500 horses on sale at the fair. The chief guest of the competition was Kishan Singh Jasol.
