The play “Mann-Marichika” was performed on the opening day of 6th edition of ‘Rangaajali’ festival. The festival is jointly organised by Nadbrahma and Mohan Singh Mehta Trust at Vidhya Bhawan Auditorium as a tribute to Late Hemant Pandya- Actor, Director, Flute-Player and Theatre Artist.
The play is based on late Rakesh Nayak’s poem and was first rendered under the Direction by Late Hemant Pandya. The play is a depiction of the sorrow-laden story of the solitude of a retired professor who was betrayed by both girlfriend and wife.

The play beautifully highlights a director’s imagination and experimental skills.

Theatre artists Rakesh, Neelab Sharma, Neha Kabra, Shivraj Sonwal, Rekha Sisodiya and Vibhangi Ameta played the role of different characters in the play.
