Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra is just a few days away. On 14th July Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra will be carried out in Udaipur city. The entire route for the Rath Yatra will be adorned with devotional flags.

All devotees and followers and the respective teams are busy preparing for the Rath Yatra. Flags will be given between 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from the office at Jagdish Chowk. Representatives of the Rath Yatra committees are inviting people to participate in this yearly procession. A meeting will be held on 7th July in Asind ki Haveli to discuss the participation of the common masses and devotees. It is being estimated that more than 500 representatives of various social organisations will be present in the Rath Yatra.

A meeting was held regarding the procession that is carried out from Sector-7 Jagannath Dham. It was presided by Dr. Pradeep Kumawat and Bhupendra Singh Bhati. Shiv Singh Solanki has been given the charge of collaborating with all communities which participate in the Rath Yatra every year.  Girish Sharma and Harish Toshniwal have been given the responsibility for forming welcome committees. As per Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, people are very enthusiastic about Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra. Teams of youth from various sectors are all set to make arrangements for the success of this Rath Yatra.

A poster has been released in Sri Jagannath Dham today morning with respect to the Rath Yatra. Various “jhankis” will also be a part of the procession. The Rath Yatra is an occasion when people enchant mantras, recite a lot of prayers and keep singing in praise of Lord Jagannath. Devotion flows in them like blood. Various communities join this Rath Yatra proving that unity still prevails.
