Six teams of two participants each were selected for Quarter Finals in the RBIQ 2015, an inter school quiz competition organized by Reserve Bank of India on 14^th Oct at MLSU Auditorium.

The team representing St. Anthony School sector-4 topped the competition and qualified for the next round which is to be held in Mumbai.

Students Arpit and Naman from St. Anthony won the quarter final round while St. Anthony Balicha and DPS Udaipur got second and third positions respectively.

This year, the competitions were held in Rajasthan’s three cities including Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur. 155 teams from different schools took part in the first round making it one of the largest multi-location quiz competitions.

6 teams of different schools selected in quarter finals are- Kushal and Parth from Delhi Public School, Karan and Utsav from St. Anthony Balicha, Arpit and Naman from St. Anthony sector 4, Siddhi and Ujwal from MMPS, Om Prakash and Manvendra from KV No. 2 Eklingarh and Balwant and Bhavna from BN School.

Program was inaugurated by Arnav Roy, regional director of RBI. Winners are qualified to the next round which is to be held in Mumbai.

Reserve Bank of India is organizing the quiz competition since 2012 with the motive of creating awareness and interest about history and role of RBI, Banking and Finance, economics, current affairs, personalities and events that have contributed to the growth and progress of India over years.
