Udaipur Urban Co-Operative Bank Ltd. held its 40th Annual General Meeting at Lok Kala Mandal. The Bank, being the first co-operative bank to provide RTGS facility to its consumers, announced a 50% dividend for its share holders.

Today in this 40th AGM organised in presence of its share holders and members, the Chairman declared a 50% dividend and announced a steady growth in assets and a record profit of Rs 6 Crore.

The Chairman, in his speech to the audience, also said that UUCB has mapped all his branches with the Core Banking System. He also said that the Bank has received its IFSC code, which will facilitate NEFT/RTGS for its depositors.

According to Ashique Hussain Navaniya, Director and Acting Chairman UUCB, in the financial year 2012-13 total deposits with the bank is Rs. 380 Crore, while bank Advances are around Rs. 178 Crore.

He also proudly announced that the bank achieved Rs. 6 Crore as Gross Profit, which is highest in banking history of UUCB in the past 40 years.

On the occasion the Management also honored 5 of their staff for their remarkable services to the bank. These employees were honoured by Ex-Chairman Lt. Col. Sirajuddin, in which Zulfikar Alamshah, Naseem Rassawala, Dinesh Dave and Quresh Ali Tinwala took away the honors.

The event concluded with a joint member dinner in the back lawns of Lok Kala Mandal.
