Tourism Department Udaipur will organize regional (Cultural) dances on the evening of 15^th August at 6 venues simultaneously. The assortment of dances will include Kalbeliya, Chang, Teratali and Chakkri along with a special performance of Sidi Dhamal and Mewasi Dance.

Sumita Saroj, Director, Tourism Department Udaipur informed that in as a part of the events organized in the 15^th August celebrations, local dances like Kalbeliya, Teratali and Chang will be held in the evening. Six pre-decided venues for the dance performance are Fateh Sagar Pal, Dudh Talai, Sukhadia Circle, Rajiv Gandhi Park, Goverdhan Sagar Pal and Savina Sector-9.

Sumita added that all these events are managed by Tourism Department. Sitting arrangements will be managed by the Municipal Corporation. In the events, special performances of Siddhi Dhamal and Mewasi Dance are to be conducted by the West Zone Culture Center (WZCC).
