Relief for Physically Challenged: Jaipur Foot Camp 2015

Prayatna, the social responsibility club of IIM Udaipur, in collaboration with Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), Udaipur is organizing JAIPUR FOOT CAMP (JFC) on 25th February 2015 from 10 AM onward at IIM premises.

Prayatna, the social responsibility club of IIM Udaipur, in collaboration with Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), Udaipur is organizing JAIPUR FOOT CAMP (JFC) on 25th February 2015 from 10 AM onward at IIM premises.

A team of doctors will provide disability certificates and recommendations for helping aids to the disabled. There would also be free distribution of medical aids and appliances of disability to differently-abled people.

Last year, a total of 82 differently-abled people benefitted from the camp including 29 students from different parts of Udaipur district. The benefits were 10 hand-pedaled tricycles, 24 hearing aids, 3 Jaipur Foot’s prosthetic legs, 4 calipers, 1 pair of crutches, 38 certificates of disability, 29 railway transport passes, 37 roadways transport passes and 6 student scholarships.

The event is open to all the people who need aid for physical impairment. Following documents along with photocopies need to be carried for the on-the-spot registration.

  1. 2 passport sized photographs
  2. Caste Certificate
  3. Income Certificate
  4. Disability certificate

Venue: Rajeev Gandhi Tribal Hostel (ST Hostel), IIM Udaipur, MLSU Campus

Time: 10 AM to 2 PM

The event hopes to make significant value addition to the society by creating awareness among the differently-abled people about the opportunities ahead and a new life with Jaipur Foot Camp.
