Rotary Udaipur to start I.C.U on wheels
Udaipur citizens were promised an advanced facility hospital by the Rotary Club during the initiation of the Rotary Session July 2011-2012. They have accordingly kept their word and are gifting an ‘I.C.U on Wheels’ which may start its operations from the coming month. The Vehicle has already been delivered and is now being equipped with the necessary instruments and infrastructure.

Dr. Nirmal Kumawat, President of Rotary Club, Udaipur in his session with the media at Darbar Hall, City Palace, said, “The Rotary Club endeavors to serve the general public in a better way and undertakes projects and plans for the same.
The ‘I.C.U on Wheels’ is a part of this endeavor and we believe that it will be welcomed by the residents of Udaipur. It would be possible to save many lives, especially of patients that need immediate medical supervision in critical conditions mostly during road accidents, etc.”
Ratnesh Kashyap, District Governor, Rotary District 3050 said, “We always try to do public inclusion projects and tasks, where we relate to the general public and aspire to serve them in large numbers. Rotary District 3050, with the help of Rotary International has established a Professional Training Center for the unemployed residents of Malla Talai, Udaipur, the financial outflow on which is around Rs. 26 lac.
This program will ensure that the individual gets trained according to the talent or passion they possess”. The District Governor of Rotary Club will be inaugurating the program today evening.
“District Governor of Rotary Club will also be inaugurating newly setup of machines in the I.C.U unit of Maharana Bhopal Hospital, Udaipur. We at Rotary have focused on all sections of the general public. Be it children, youth or old-age persons; we are trying our best to serve all. We also encourage recreational activities and for that we organize the Rotary Mela every year” said Dr. Nirmal Kunawat.
Rama Chaudhry, President, Rotary Service Trust said, “To support the social cause on a global scale, the Rotary Club Udaipur would be presenting a cheque of Rs. 23,50,000 to Ratnesh Kashyap towards this purpose. Apart from that, a cheque of Rs. 80,000 would be presented to the foundation for the campaign of Polio Removal by Rotary Club, Udaipur”.
Girish Mehta, Secretary, Rotary Club informed that there will be a felicitation ceremony today evening where 9 of the club members would be honored for their services towards social causes.
