Ernest Rwamucyo, Rwandan High Commissioner to India attended a commemoration program at BN College auditorium.

The event was organized to pay tribute to the millions of people from Tutsi tribe who were massacred in 1994 violence in Rwanda.

Dr. Vikram Singh Shaktawat (Principal) and Niranjan Narayan (Director) welcomed the guests. Thereafter a group of Rwandan students studying in BN College welcomed Rwamucyo in traditional manner.

Rwandan student Liya, who is doing her M.Sc in Biotech, described the Rwandan Genocide.

In his short address, Ernest Rwamucyo said, “We the people of Rwanda are looking forward for the better future and working on development of our country. The incident of 1994 was painful but the new generation of Rwanda is united and contributing in the upliftment of our country.”

Rwamucyo toured the campus and met students. He praised the education level in BN College and indicated for future collaboration with the college.
