Udaipur will be hosting the SAARC Conference on Equity, Economy and Environment, creating an ideal backdrop for the gist of the conference.

Professor Aarti Prasad, Organizing Secretary informed that the SAARC  conference is being held under the joint association of Mohanlal Sukhadia University and Mumbai University with gist being enforcement of the three “R”s, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to protect the three “E”s, Equity, Economy and Environment.

Carbon footprint, Balanced Development, E-Waste Management, GDP, Happiness Index, Socio-Economic Digital Divide, etc will be the topics of discussion in this conference.

The conference will be held in January 2017 and experts from all SAARC nations will be hosted by the City of Lakes.  Young Scientist Award will also be announced during the conference.
