School for Blind to Celebrate the Birthday of Louis Braille
Pragya Chakshu Secondary School for blind will celebrate the 205th birthday of Louis Braille, the inventor of Braille system of reading and writing for visually impaired people, tomorrow at school campus at Ambamata. Chief Guest on the occasion will be ADJ Hemant Jain.

School’s Virendra Kumar Arya informed that students from the nearby districts will also participate in this function. Till now, more than 200 students have already registered for the program which will start tomorrow at 10 am. Till 2 pm, several sports competitions will be organized for the kids and from 3 pm, a cultural program will be organized. In the end of the whole program, winners will be awarded.
Arya said that he has been associated with the school for past 34 years and that he was thankful to the government for an aid of Rs 50000 because of which, they were able to improve the school with some basic facilities and were able to fulfill some needs of the blind students.
