In the 1^st International Symposium organized by State Government of Rajasthan at Shilpgram Udaipur, 16 artists from various countries are in final phase of giving shapes to their sculptures.

In this month long symposium, varied art works are in the process of being moulded into their final design, while some artists are chasing time and working hard to finish their respective master pieces. All these sculptures will be installed in various parts of the city as per plan.

According to Dalpat Surana, Co-ordinator of the symposium a similar meet will be planned on yearly basis; however the art work of current year will be showcased in an open air museum. The location of ultimate exhibition is proposed to be around lakes of city and even in the middle of the water body. Yet, no such conformation has been received from the administration, added Surana.

As of now, the raw image of sculpture is being casted into its final shape out of clouds of anticipation.

Kenji Toda of Japan is working on enjoining two giant sculptures through a white marble chain, crafted to perfection the chain will be hang against gravity on display.

Rajshekaran Nair of India is almost done with a massive granite sculpture of a cart loaded with a house like model.
