On the second day of the ongoing celebrations, to mark the 62nd Foundation Day of Lok Kala Mandal and 9th Padamshri Devilal Samar Natya Samaroh, a play “Bhagvadjjukam” was staged by ‘The Performers’ group.

Goverdhan Samar, Organizing Secretary informed that Gujarati folk dancers presented mesmerizing dance pieces to begin the event yesterday, while today, the play presented by ‘The Performers’ and directed by Anukampa Laik was hugely appreciated by the audience.

The play was based on a humorous incident between a guru and his disciples. Guru, while teaching his disciples, swaps his soul with that of a lady which leads to the confusion among the lady’s family and guru’s followers. The light sequence that followed tickled the funny bone of the audience.
