The second film festival of Udaipur will be organized from 5th to 7th September jointly by Jan Sanskriti Manch and Udaipur Film Society.

The major attraction in the festival will be presentation of National Award winning Marathi movie ‘Fundi’. Internationally famed documentary movie ‘Red Aunt Dream’/ ‘Maati Ke Lal’ and Director Rajat Kapoor’s ‘Aankhon Dekhi’ will also be presented.

Shailendra Singh Bhatti, Organizer, Udaipur Film Festival, informed, “Inspiring from success of first film festival, second edition has been organized. The film festival is dedicated to actress Late Zohra Sehgal and Bengali Poet Late Nabhurun Bhattacharya. A photo film of life story of late Zohra Sehgal would be showcased by Theater Artist M.K Raina.”

Bhatti added that famous painter Zainul Abedeen will showcase a presentation on the tragic drought of Bengal which occurred in 40’s. It will be presented through number of portraits named ‘Akaal Ki Kala’. In the festival, Khawaja Ahmed Abbas’s most important creation movie ‘Dharti Ke Lal’ will also be presented.

Bhatti further informed that entry for this film festival would be free, so that maximum number of Udaipurites can enjoy.
