English Department of Arts College will be organizing an extension lecture on 14^th March in which Prof S.K Bhatia from Guru Nankdev University, Amritsar will talk on ‘Evolution of Tragedy’ at seminar hall. The event will be presided over by Prof Farida Shah, Dean of Social and Humanities College.

Likewise, another national seminar on 16^th March will be organized on the topic ‘Rethinking Mahabharata: Contemporary Contexts and Texts’ from 10 AM onward, informed Prof Malik, HoD.

For this seminar eminent Prof Kapil Kapoor who has been a former vice chancellor of JNU, Delhi and is presently vice chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Vardha will grace the audience with his insightful words.

Besides him, the chief guests of the seminar will be Prof Bheem S. Dahiya (former vice chancellor of Kurukshetra University) and Shravan Kumar Sharma (President of English Dept- Gurukul Kangdi University, Haridwar).
