Udaipur Municipal Corporation and Mewar Shatriya Mahasabha are jointly organizing events on the celebration of 474^th Birthday of Maharana Pratap on 31^st May. The program which is scheduled over 7-days will start from 25^th May, where members of Mewar Gaurav Parishad will bring along holy soil from Haldi Ghati.

Krishnakant Nahar, General Secretary, Motiyar Parishad informed, “After following due special prayer at Haldi Ghati, soil of this place will be brought to town by the members of Motiya Parishad, Veer Mitra Mandal and Mewar Gaurav Parishad.”

Nahar further added that the soil of Haldi Ghati will be applied on the forehead of individuals, participating in a mass procession scheduled on 31^st May.

Tej Singh Bansi, Ex- Director, Bhupal Nobles Institution, offered Mayor Rajni Dangi a large painting of Maharana Pratap. This hand painted picture will be installed in UMC Auditorium.
