On the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, several events were organized today by RNT Medical College, Pacific Institute, Nursing School and other organizations.

Pathology Department of RNT Medical College conducted various programs in the premises of Lecture Theater at RNT today. The program was led by Dr. Suresh Goyal and was co-ordinated by Dr. Chandra Mathur.

List of events carried out on the occasion included Poster/slogan making, quizzes and others. Ravi Lohar stood first and Keshav Kumar, Bunty Kumar grabbed second and third place respectively in MCQ competition.

Deepak Vaishnav won and Anjali Pathak, Ghanshyam stood second and third respectively in Slogan making competition. Deepak Vaishav first, Ravi Lohar second and Pratibha Joshi achieved third position in Poster Making piece.

A rally on the occasion was also organized in which students of nursing school participated to spread the word about blood donation. The rally progressed from Nursing School to Medical College.

46 individuals donated blood at Community Hall, Mavli and 30 at Pacific Institute in the blood donation drive today. On the occasion he ones who have donated blood more then 20 times were awarded with certificates and mementos. Welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Sunita Bhatnagar and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Chandra Mathur. Dr. Namita Goyal hosted and organized the event.
