Shakti Sunday announces ‘Udaipur’s Got Talent’ Auditions this Sunday

In the series of weekend event ‘Shakti Sunday’, an eco festival will be held at Dudh Talai on Feb 16. The event will also feature the launch of ‘Udaipur’s got Talent’ where interested individuals or groups can exhibit their talents.

In the series of weekend event ‘Shakti Sunday’, an eco festival will be held at Dudh Talai on Feb 16. The event will also feature the launch of ‘Udaipur’s got Talent’ where interested individuals or groups can exhibit their talents.

The program supported by Udaipur Collector and other administrative bodies like UIT and NLCP is a collaborative initiative by Shakti Sunday Steering Committee.

W.David Kubaik, form Udaipur Shakti Works informed, “This coming Sunday we are introducing ‘Udaipur’s got Talent’ auditions. We welcome singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, acrobats, jugglers and other performing artists to showcase their talent.”

All performers will receive certificate of appreciation. Selected acts will be presented on the evening stage and on special “Udaipur’s got Talent!” performance days which will be judged by the public.

Besides this, there will be an open drum circle, a children’s art camp, women’s self-defense class, organic food & farming presentations, innovative performance & environmental films, and sunset yoga sessions.

There will also be booths for handmade arts, crafts, medicinal plants, and foods from organic farms & local farms working towards organic status as well as local environmental NGOs.

All interested candidates can apply by either calling Lokesh Paliwal (tel: 988-706-9973) or Ashok Jain (tel: 0941-331-8740) or coming in person at Dudh Talai by 2:00 PM, one hour before the auditions start.

“Udaipur’s got Talent!” auditions will run from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and each performance should last for 3~5 minutes.
