SharadRangUtsav-Tickle your taste buds at Shilpgram
SharadRangUtsav is about to begin in Shilpgram from 25th October.
Tickle your taste buds in Shilpgram once again in the SharadRangUtsav to be held from 25th October. The food fest is all set to give a taste of variety of delicacies from all over the country.
Shilpgram’s air is going to be full of aroma that will set your senses drooling and your mouth watering. The festival will also have a variety of cultural programmes to set the stage on fire. 25th October 2017 will see the beginning of entertainment from artists from Gujarat, Pune and New Delhi.
Sharad Utsav, a venture of West Zone Cultural Centre, will keep public engaged for 5 days. Shilpgram is being decorated by 11 artists from Kolkata. These artists are working on making the place look beautiful and are constantly engaged in beautification since 6th October. Artist Shantanu Pandey said that he has been decorating Shilpgram for the last 11 years. He works on beautification of stage in the entire country. He has even worked on stage for Film fest in Goa and also creates paandals in Kolkata.
With the winter setting in, this the first time that Shilpgram will witness food fest along with cultural programmes, art and even Kavya Path. Centre Director Furqan Khan said that public will be able to enjoy delicacies from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Punjab, Lucknow and Bihar. Before this, Shilpgram has even hosted Hritu Vasant and Malhar fest. The Muktakashi stage will have cultural programmes every evening.
Programmes will be as follows:
25th October – Musica Collaborative, Ahmedabad(Folk Fusion headed by Nishit Mehta)
26th October – 100 years of Indian Cinema, presentation by Niche Entertainment Pune
27th October – Kavi Sammelan by Sahitya Academy, New Delhi
28th October – Dance Fusion by Amir Khusro Centre for Music, New Delhi
29th October – Contemporary Indian Dance by Anveshan, New Delhi
The programme will end with presentations from Divyangs “We are One” from New Delhi.
