On the fifth day of Shilpgram Utsav, various artists performed in the cultural evening organized at Shilpgram’s Kalangan open auditorium.

On the fifth day of Shilpgram Utsav, various artists performed in the cultural evening organized at Shilpgram’s Kalangan open auditorium.

The cultural program was lead by folk artists and dancers from the States of North-East India, some of the most appraised dance programs were Gantu of Sikkim and Pung Cholam of Manipur.

To begin the evening, artists from Maharashtra presented Sundari vadan, followed by a spectacular symphony of Mewati Musical Instrument. Dang and Koltatta were highly applauded including the Parulia Chau Artists who demonstrated the execution of Tadkasur in a dance form.

Anena Dance was another attractive performance by the artists from Arunachal Pradesh. Other eye catching performances were Bihu Dance (Assam), Gotipua (Odissa), Maim, Thang-Ta (Manipur), Kalbeliya, Ghasiyari.
