The ten day annual cultural fest of Shilpgram will be held from 21st to 30th Dec this year. A meeting was held under the direction of Addition district Collector O.P. Bunkar to take stock of the administrative preparations.

Organized by West Zone Cultural Center (WZCC) Udaipur, Shilpgram has been one of the most popular annual cultural fests hosted by Udaipur. The festival has attracted both local and tourists over years providing them enjoyable experience of shopping traditional items and evenings filled with cultural and dance program performed by folk artists who come from across the country.

The prime emphasis of the meeting was on security and traffic management. Centre Director Furkaan Khan informed that the route will be made one way during the festival. Further CCTV cameras will be installed for security purpose.

Khan informed that a temporary Police chowky will also be setup along with support from homegaurds. Parking facility will be made available near Darpan Sabhagar (Shilpgram auditorium) and in empty spaces of the Panchayat. Administration is also setting up efforts to ensure adequate lighting at all places.

This year the fest will host over 600 artists and 400+ sculptors.
