A group of five Sikh devotees preceded their 150 kilometers journey by foot today for Gurudwara Shri Kalgidhar Sahib, Bagore Rajasthan.

On the occasion many prominent people were present to extend best wishes to the devotees. BJP leader Dinesh Bhatt, social worker Devendrapal Singh, Gurudwara Sanrakshak Manmohan Singh, Gurudwara Pradhan Harbhajan Singh and Singh Media Center’s Jasmeet Singh Arora.
Jasmeet Singh Arora informed UT that, “By the grace of Akal Purakh, A jathaa left for Pedal yatra to Gurudwara Shri Kalgidhar Sahib, Bagore, Rajasthan today at 06 AM from Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Shri Guru Nanak Darbar, Sector:14, Udaipur”.
“The Jattha is in leadership of S. Virendra Singh Ji Arora and will cover 150 Kms by foot in 5 days”, informed Jasmeet.
Walking schedule will be:
Day 1: Udaipur to Raocha
Day 2: Raocha to Kankroli
Day 3: Kankroli to Lapsya
Day 4: Lapsya to Gangapur
Day 5: Gangapur to Bagore Sahib
According to S. Virendra Singh Arora, it is his 5th on foot Journey to Bagore Sahib.
Every year prakashotsav of Dasve Patshah Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is celebrated at Gurudwara Bagore Sahib and a Jatha of devotees reach there from Udaipur.
According to the history, Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed there when he was on journey to Punjab.
