The 8^th South Asian Youth Festival, hosted by Mohanlal Sukhadia University is going to be held at Udaipur on 7^th-11^th March. Singer Ila Arun and Actor Om Puri will grace the occasion with their presence.

In the youth festival more than 500 students from across the globe will mark their presence for which celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Union Minister Smriti Irani are being considered for the event.

Representatives from Afghanistan, Iran, Burma, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Mauritius, Maldives and Bangladesh etc. will participate in the festival. Pakistan has sent wishes for the festival but have yet to send a representative.

The last date for registration is 20^th February. Students or officials of participating country/university may register here.
