Udaipur, December 11, 2024 - A State-level women’s conference will be held in Udaipur to celebrate the completion of one year of the Bhajan Lal Sharma government. The event will take place on December 14 at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur. The programme will include a women’s conference, distribution of benefits to beneficiaries, departmental exhibitions, district-level exhibitions and release of the District Development Booklet.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Rural Development Department, Shreya Guha, visited Udaipur yesterday to review preparations. She held discussions at the Circuit House with Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, District Collector Arvind Poswal, Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) Commissioner Rahul Jain and other senior officials regarding conference preparations which will be attended by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

Later, the addl Chief Secretary carried out inspections of the ground, including VIP entry, distribution of benefits under departmental schemes, departmental exhibition stalls and seating arrangements. She stressed on the importance of ensuring smooth arrangements, including seating, drinking water, food and ensuring all necessary rehearsals for VIP movements. She then visited the District Collectorate and held a meeting with all departmental and administrative officials.

The meeting was also attended by Additional District Collector (Administration) Deepender Singh Rathore, CEO District Council and Nodal Officer Hemendra Nagar, ACEO Anjum Tahir and officials from various departments.
