Gulabchand Kataria, State Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj inaugurated the statue of Hadi Rani at Savina Circle today. The 12ft tall and 1900kg heavy bronze statue was constructed by Udaipur Municipal Corporation.

In his address, Gulabchand Kataria said, “Municipal Corporation of Udaipur has not only executed several development works in city but also made a record in installing statues of famous personalities of Mewar.”

Speaking about Hadi Rani, Kataria said, “The story of Hadi Rani, her bravery and sacrifice always inspires us. These monuments will help the new generation to learn about characteristics of such personalities and get inspired from them.”
