Roland Ries, Mayor of Strasbourg and Rathi Vinay Jha, Chairperson, Indian Heritage City Network Foundation inaugurated the Udaipur Heritage House at Jagdish Chowk today.

Ries was accompanied with the French delegation including Shigeru Aogayi, UNESCO Representative to India and Director, UNESCO New Delhi Office

The program started at 4 in the afternoon. The guests were welcomed by Rajni Dangi, Mayor of Udaipur and other administrative officers.

The delegation learned about the heritage work of the city; series of historical literatures and books were also unveiled by Ronal Ries.

Group discussed about the MoU signed between Udaipur Municipal Corporation, Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust and Indian Heritage City Network, Strasbourg and the work done by Municipal Corporation.

According to Rajni Dangi, the French delegation was happy and satisfied with the work like repairing of Clock Tower and Karjali House and development work of Gangu Kund etc.

The delegation also saw heritage walk constructed by Udaipur Municipal Corporation.
