Street play ‘Anchahi’ was performed by the artists of Natyansh Society of Dramatic and Performing Arts at Fateh Sagar Paal on 26th and 27th July.
The play depicted the number of atrocities on women by the society especially emphasizing the issue of female feticide, girl infanticide and highlighting the hypocrisy prevailing around the weaker sex. Through the play, laws related to the aforementioned issues were imparted.
Organizer Ashfaq Noor Khan informed that the play was written and directed by Amit Shrimali and performed by Arun Jain, Priyangi Kapur, Akhil Nayar, Prashant Gupta, Rahul Gujarati, Rekha Sisodia, Shlok Pimplakar and Amit Shrimali. Shweta Bawa, Mo. Rizwan Mansuri and Abdul Mubin coordinated the event.
