Four students were awarded the Nand Ganga Merit Award for their performance in the board exams conducted by RBSE in the year 2011. The award was given by Nand Ganga Manav Seva Samiti (NGMSS).

Students from 12^th commerce, science and arts faculties and one student from 10^th board have received cash prizes and mementos by tele star Shweta Tiwari ,in a program conducted today at M.L.S.U auditorium at 3.00 pm.

First prize in the arts stream was given to Maya Rawal from Sirohi, 12^th, Kartik Ameta , from Udaipur got the first prize in the commerce stream, 12^th while the first prize in the science stream was given to Akash Joshi also from Udaipur.

Lekhika Paliwal from Udaipur received 1^st prize for her performance in the 10^th board examination. All these students had appeared in their respective exams under RBSE and have scored more than 75%.

The program was scheduled to commence at 1:00 PM but got delayed by an hour as the special guest Shweta Tiwari had not arrived, on her arrival Bharat Sharma, chairman of NGMSS welcomed Shewta Tiwari .

Shewta encouraged all the students present at the program to pursue education and showed her keen interest in the propagation of education and knowledge, while addressing to students she said ‘ I as a proud mother of a daughter is all prepared to give her the best education in whatever field of interest she wants to carry on her learning, and, education is vital part of one’s life .

Nand Ganga Manav Seva Samiti (NGMSS) was established in the year 2009 by Bharat Sharma who is a successful and renowned name in the real estate industry; he also owns Gee Bee Properties and Earthmovers.

NGMSS is actively working on elevating many socially critical issues, education and health being the prominent among them.
