Students enjoy Photography and Music Competition at SAUFEST

Student participants from SAARC nations enjoyed the second day of 8th South Asian Universities Festival (SAUFEST) by participating in various competitions and events.
Hosted by MLSU Udaipur in association with Pacific University, the five day SAUFEST witnessed zest and enthusiasm from the students representing Universities of Afghanistan, Iran, Burma, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Mauritius, Maldives, Bangladesh and India.
On Sunday, the students enjoyed Spot Photography Competition which was held at Pacific University’s Pratap Auditorium. The day also included events of Music, Singing and Musical Instrument competition.
Spot Photography Competition was inaugurated by Samsun David (Joint Secretary of Indian Universities Association), Hemant Kothari (Dean Pacific University) and Dr Mahendra Sojatia (Director PIBS). The competition was judged by Claude D’souza and Rajdeep Rakesh.
Students also took part in several music competitions passionately. The melodious music representing various nations and cultures captivated the audience.
Clay Modeling, Just-a-Minute and Debate Competition also pulled a good number of crowds. Today there will be face painting competition, seminar on skill development, mono act, heritage culture quiz and fashion show.
