It’s time to sharpen yourself, demonstrate your skills and test your business acumen. A mega event- SWISSKNIFE 2010, happening in Udaipur from 26th Nov to 28th Nov, 2010, invites students from all over India, be it graduates or under-graduates.
This event is organized by Phoenix International Business School (PIBS) – an initiative by alumni form Stanford, IIM & IIT. Focusing towards “Forward thinking” professions, the theme of SwissKnife is “Future is Now”.
This is a 3 day event comprising of many competitions. One is national level paper presentation inviting papers for a better future from the leaders of tomorrow to look afresh at what we normally take for granted.
With the growing need for sustainable development given the fact that our actions are leading to harmful consequences like global warming, there’s a chance to travel the road less travelled and Go Green and think about sustainable living. Students will have to come up with a B-Plan on this theme and that will make all the difference.
Students who are called Geeks because of the time they spend in libraries or reading newspaper, here is the right platform to showcase that knowledge. There’s a mind-bender quiz competition to challenge the best of quizzers from across the student fraternity.
Also the ‘argumentative’ students can participate in the debate competition. There is case study event and for students who can be the best Rocket Singh, salesman of the event showcasing their marketing techniques.
And if you are thinking that this is all that this event has to serve, then here comes the most exciting part of it. SWISSKNIFE offers all the ‘Nautankis’ a chance to portray the ‘Dharam Garam’ or ‘the angry young man’ in them. There will be street plays and dance competitions for all. You can even make the best out of waste.
This will not be the end of it because there is going to be some serious head-banging stuff at the Rock Show and its open for all. No entry fees, no passes!
With such an enthralling event happening in our own Udaipur, I’m sure no one wants to miss this opportunity. So all you students, gear up, pull your socks and participate…
