Monthly Movie Screening was organized on Sunday by Udaipur Film Society.  ‘Memories in March’ directed by Rituparno Ghosh was screened at the event.

The movie encapsulates the point of view of Indian Society on the topic of Homosexuality.  It tries to bring forward the human side on this taboo topic. Post screening, a discussion was held where Krishna Chaudhary spoke about addressing the rights of homosexuals and act 377 in IPC.

Vilas Jhanve and Vishnu Mali praised efforts by Rituparno Ghosh. Neha Yadav said that, as the film conveys the message, it should be kept in mind that, homosexuality is not a mental disorder.

After the event, a tribute was paid to Late Nand Chaturvedi, who passed away recently. His two poems were also recited by the attendees.
