Udaipur, Jan 5, 2026 - Famous international wrestler The Great Khali arrived in Udaipur on Sunday (January 4). He attended the closing ceremony of the divisional-level volleyball tournament organised at Kavita village in Udaipur district as Chief Guest and distributed prizes to the winning teams.
During his address, he said that sport is the strongest medium for overall development of youth elaborating that it not only strengthens the body but also develops discipline, self-confidence and team spirit. Khali said that if players practice honestly and move forward with a clear goal, then reaching State, national and international levels is not difficult.

Praising rural talent, he said that many players from villages are making the country proud. He urged players to stay away from mobile addiction and substance abuse and to make sports an integral part of their lives.
On this occasion, tournament organiser Arjun Paliwal, Devilala Paliwal, Naresh Paliwal, police officer Himanshu Singh Rajawat, District Sports Officer Dr Mahesh Paliwal, and other dignitaries were present.
