TiECon Udaipur 2023 is being organized by TiE Udaipur to promote investment in startups in Udaipur and innovation in the field of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs, motivational speakers and founders of many renowned startups from across the country will be present at the event. The event will revolve around startup pitching, investments and networking as well as investments in Startups.

Vinay Rathi, President of TIE Udaipur said that this two-day event focused on startup and entrepreneurship development will be organized on 3-4 March under the aegis of TIE Udaipur and iSTART (Department of IT and Communication, Govt of Rajasthan). Renowned entrepreneurs from across the country will participate in the event to promote interaction between startup founders and investors.

Creating Value Beyond Metros

The theme of the event is 'Emerging Growth Centres: Creating Value Beyond the Metros', with an emphasis on business growth beyond mega cities. The primary sponsor of the event is Wonder Cement, and the venue will be the Convention Center of the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On March 3, during the second half of the event, TiE charter members, Startups, Investors and other speakers from across the country will discuss the agenda of the event. A startup pitching session will also be organized on this day to decide on investments worth crores of rupees for startups. On March 4, the main event will have panel discussions in various halls and stalls, founder boot camps and networking sessions, where entrepreneurs, investors and stakeholders of the startup ecosystem will discuss various aspects of the startup ecosystem.

Skill, Scale and Speed

On the eve of TiECON Udaipur 2023, Information Technology and Communications Commissioner Ashish Gupta said that under the iStart Rajasthan program, continuous focus is being laid on skill, scale and speed to strengthen the startup ecosystem of Rajasthan. Therefore, to give scale and momentum to the startup ecosystem in Rajasthan, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan launched the states' Startup Policy 2022 at Jodhpur in November 2022. In this program, young entrepreneurs will be encouraged by giving information about various policies of the government.
