Udaipur, Jan 28, 2026 - The Toughest Firefighter Alive competition, a rigorous test of physical endurance, courage and mental strength of firefighting personnel, is being successfully conducted at Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, Udaipur. Firefighters from various States are participating, showcasing their professional skills and determination.

Chief Fire Officer Babulal Chaudhary shared that the competition aims to prepare firefighters mentally and physically for real-life emergency situations. During the event, participants faced challenging tasks - such as stair runs carrying heavy equipment, hose handling, obstacle courses and weight-lifting drills.

Chaudhary added that all participating firefighters demonstrated exceptional fitness levels, discipline and teamwork. Such competitions not only enhance operational efficiency but also motivate personnel to respond swiftly and effectively during disaster management operations. The Chief Fire Officer emphasised the need to organise similar competitions regularly in the future.

A large number of officers, staff members and sports enthusiasts were present to witness the event and encourage the participants. At the conclusion of the competition, successful participants were honoured.
