Verma and Guest of honor Prof. S. M. Mathur, Director and Professor of TCF, CTAE, Udaipur at BN Seminar hall of BN Institutions

A two day National Seminar on “Recent Advances in Pharmacy Education and Research” was held at BNIPS. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest, eminent social activist and retd. IFS S. K. Verma and Guest of honor Prof. S. M. Mathur, Director and Professor of TCF, CTAE, Udaipur at BN Seminar hall of BN Institutions.

 Managing Director of BN Institution, Niranjan Narayan Singh Rathore, BN College of Pharmacy Principal MS Ranawat and other eminent guests were present on the occasion. Principal of BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chetan Singh Chauhan welcomed the guests, delegates, participants, staff members and students.

Meenakshi Bharakatiya narrated the seminar schedule. There were more than 400 participants from various parts of India. S. K. Verma emphasized on social concerns of the society, spirituality and upliftment of women in the society.

Scientific session started with key-note speaker Prof. SM Mathur’s lecture about various opportunities for talents in pharmacy field in research area. He narrated about the various schemes of Government of India like PRISM, TCF, etc. regarding idea generation and converting into commercialization.

N.N. Singh Rathore appreciated the efforts of AICTE for providing such opportunities for young talents of India. MS Ranawat highlighted the role and importance of pharmacists in the society.

In second session of the program, there was poster presentation in which about 65 posters were presented on various research and review based topics that was evaluated by Indrajeet Singhvi, Director, Pacific Institute of Pharmacy and Ashok Dashora, Director, Geetanjali Institute of Pharmacy.
