The administration along with forest department officials is planning to make the bird festival even more grander this time around. Bird festival dates have been finalized for 23-25 Dec 2017.

With early finalization of bird festival dates, it is expected to attract international bird lovers also this time around. A bird race is being planned as a special attraction this year.

Plans are also being made to increase the participation of women in photo workshops. Team of ornithologists will decide panel for judging entries for on-the-spot competition.

A brochure detailing the entire plan will also be created. The organising team will contact noted participants in various bird festivals across the country and confirm their participation. Schools will be contacted to ensure participation of students during the bird festival.
