WorldCup 2011 fever is full on in Udaipur and Udaipurites hope that India is going to win tomorrow’s semi-final match against Pakistan. Not only this, they are praying for the team as well and carrying out various religious ceremonies. One such religious ceremony was organized in Amba Mata Temple in Shakti Nagar.
Pandit Dinesh Tarwadi conducted a yagya and 151 coconuts were offered to the Goddess, praying for team India’s win. This ceremony was managed by Mr. Vijay Pariyani and Mr. Sunil Kalra. Around 15-20 cricket fans were a part of this.
After conducting the yagya they also worshiped a cricket bat and prayed for Sachin Tendular that he may hit his 100th century in International Cricket and set a new record.
They hope that their prayers will be fruitful and India will not only win the Semi-finals against Pakistan but will also bring home the World Cup 2011 Trophy.
