Doctors of Anesthesia Department, GMCH celebrated World Anesthesia Day today. The program was organized in the joint association of GMCH and Anesthesia Society Udaipur.

Many prominent doctors from Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital and RNT Medical College including Dr. Pramila Bajaj (Medical Superintendent), Dr. S.S Jetawat (HoD, Anesthesia Department), Dr. Rajendra Sharma (Secretary, Anesthesia Society Udaipur), Dr. Rakesh Kushwaha, Dr. Nagendra Prasad, Dr. Seema Partani, Dr. Alka and the whole team of Anesthesia Department were present on the occasion.

The day long program consisted of discussion session, a workshop and cake cutting ceremony.

Why celebrate World Anesthesia Day?

World Anesthesia Day is celebrated every year on 16^th October to mark the first recorded successful use of ether as an anesthetic which took place in 1846 at the Massachusetts General hospital, Boston, USA.
