Giving is returned with Blessings and blessings are rewarded with an attitude to further the cause of helping the needy in whatever form possible.  With an intent to helping the needy children of the city, four youngsters from the City of Lakes have embarked on a mission.  Armed with good intent and an aptitude of charity, the four youngsters have a assembled together a charity program at the Bal Chhatravas in Dewali, Udaipur.

The event scheduled to be held on 29 September, will include a cultural show, and skill development sessions.  In the skill development session, the four youngsters – Pradeep Labana and Vineet Chauhan from the Helping Youth Organisation NGO along with Navaid Hussain and Sanskar Agarwal, both students of class XII from a local school will provide basic training on Map reading and Computer skills to the children staying at the Baal Chhatraavas in Dewali.

HYO has earlier conducted social exercises in the form of charity and cleaning various public parks and river beds – Gangaur Ghat, Amrai Ghat.  They have executed plantation drives, managed donation programs for donating stationery to needy children.

Sanskar says he was inspired by the activities conducted by Rotary, while Navaid, self motivated and a philanthropist by nature have come together with Happy Youth Organisation, whom they interacted through Social Media to design and implement this event.  The cultural show and skill development session will be followed with distribution of clothes to the children of the Chhatraavas (Hostel).

The four have made tremendous efforts in reaching out to the residents of Udaipur, over the last one week and are looking for contributions in the form of clothes – both old and new from the residents.  You have a chance of being a part of this noble cause – all you need to do is to consolidate old clothes, woolens, etc in your home and call 8003542968.  Members of the Helping Youth Organisation will pick up the packet from your place.  Alternatively, you may also deposit the clothes packet at the UdaipurTimes office located at Ashwani Bazar (near Emerald Complex) or call UdaipurTimes @ 9001590203 to deposit the parcel at the office.  HYO members will collect the parcels from there.  You can connect with HYO on their FB and Insta pages.
