What is Organ Donation
Organ donation is where a person donates their organ(s) for transplant. There are two types of organ donation – living and deceased. Living donation is when alive and medically compatible donors decide to donate their organs to a recipient in dire need of a transplant. Deceased donation is when organs from a person who has died because of brain death are transplanted to living recipients in need of a transplant. Donate organs are given to someone who has damaged organs that need to be replaced. An organ transplant may save a person’s life or significantly improve their health.
We invite all readers and citizens of Udaipur to participate in this noble cause and work towards spreading awareness of Organ Donation and Organ Transplant.
