The 462^nd Foundation Day concluded today with offering garland to Idol of Maharana Udai Singh, at Udiapol Circle organized by Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) earlier this morning, in presence of Mayor Rajni Dangi and other social workers of town.

According to Rajni Dangi, Mayor, UMC, “Founder of Udaipur city, Maharana Udai Singh’s idol was given a prestigious bath with holy water of Ganga, which was followed by garlanding the idol by honorable citizens of Udaipur.”

Dangi added that on the occasion a hawan was also organized at venue for peace and prosperity of town, in which corporators and social workers of the city participated.

In the series of event, a mass procession was also organized at city palace, which started from Tripoliya gate of palace and travelled across old city areas later this evening.
