Udaipur Jheel Mahotsav Celebrated with Zeal

The Udaipur Jheel Mahotsav was organized today under the joint collaboration of Alok Sansthan, Nagar Parishad, Rotary Club, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Aravli Paryavaran & Jheel Sanrakshan Mahasangh, Alok Interact Club, Bajrang Bali Prachat Samiti, Sanvidha Sansthan and Janhit Seva Samiti.

The Udaipur Jheel Mahotsav was organized today under the joint collaboration of Alok Sansthan, Nagar Parishad, Rotary Club, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Aravli Paryavaran & Jheel Sanrakshan Mahasangh, Alok Interact Club, Bajrang Bali Prachat Samiti, Sanvidha Sansthan and Janhit Seva Samiti.

Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, organizing Secretary informed that the event event started from Heritage Walk where students of Alok Interact Club, Hiran Magri conveyed the message in their walk from Gulabbagh to Gangaur Ghat.  Rajni Dangi waved the flag to start the Heritage Walk from Gulabbagh.

Meanwhile, the second group started at Alok Interact Club, Hathipol and concluded at Jagdish Chowk. The third group covered the stretch of Alok Interact Club, Fatehpura till Jagdish Chowk.

All the three groups then merged into one at Jagdish Chowk on 5.55 PM where they were welcomed with flowers and drum beats.

In the rally, the students spread the message of Lake Conservation, Environment Conservation, Safegaurding Natural Resources, Plantation, Water Conservation, Healthy Lifestyle and Saving our Heritage.

Dr. Kumawat welcomed the guest and also wished greetings to all udaipurites on amply filled lakes. He asked everyone to take an oath to never pollute lakes and talked on importance of lakes inour lives.

He also praised Rajni Dangi and her efforts in initiation of Water Sports in lakes. He also requested to all for not polluting Ghats and ask to work towards cleanliness of Lakes.

All the guests unveiled the banner for Lake Conservation, on which everyone signed.

Rajni Dangi, in her speech congratulated everyone on filled lakes and spoke on how everyone can contribute their bit towards maintaining cleanliness in lakes.  She also asked not to use polythene bags.

She also promised to keep working on projects for the city of which everyone will be updated via news dailies and media.

Shyamlal Kumawat also spoke on the event and asked everyone to participate in the cause to keep lakes clean.

Abdul Kadir, flew 5 foot kite to spread the message of Lake Conservation and students of Alok School did presentations in dance forms. Deepak Khandelwal, Alok School recited a poem on water conservation.

On the occasion, ‘ee he Udaipur nagariya’ had its premiere at Gangaur Ghat. The subject was to save water and conserve lakes.

Choga Lal Choi, Mewar Cable was awarded for his media presentation and involvement in every small and large bit of the city activity. Abdul Kadir, well known for his talent of flying kites was also awarded.

Officials including Durgesh Sharma, Yashwant Kothari, Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, Usha Kumawat, Sheshank Tak, Pushpa Kumawat, Sushil Banthia, O.P. Sahlot, B.L. Mehta, Ramesh Soni, Krishna Kant Kumawat, C.K. Paliwal, Sanjay Bhatnagar, Kamlendra Singh, Nischay Kumawat, Nirmal Singhvi, Pavan Sukhwal, Ramji Varshney, Kalpana Bhatnagar, Kanchan Soni, Prateek Kumawat, Shakti Singh Dewda, Deepesh Soni, Kuldeep America and Inayat Ali were present in the event.
