Udaipur Lantern festival is going to take place in Shouryagarh on 15^th October. Program will start at 4 p.m. and go on till 10 p.m.

Public is in for another celebration amidst lanterns going up and lighting the sky. The breathtaking view of lanterns can be enjoyed at Shouryagarh resort. The sky becomes just like the one you see in fairy tales. The lanterns look breathtakingly beautiful glowing up there and creating a dream like sequence. Another interesting part of this festival is that people can go grooving to the tunes of famous singer Papon at Fatehsagar lake side. Udaipurites are awaiting this event with full enthusiasm amidst the changing weather.

The program will start with Jugalbandi from Jaipur band “Swarag” with folk-rock and Sufi music.DJ Kavish from Udaipur will perform at the end of the program. Overall, the festival will have a grand mix of Sufi, Bollywood and DJ music. Games and quiz programs are also the highlights of this festival. A variety of food stalls and a few other surprises will add to the fun of lantern festival.

Papon expressed his excitement about performing in Udaipur. He said that this event is very special for him. “Mega Sound” is in charge of sound system in the festival. It is expected that people from Indore, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai will also join the festival.
