Udaipur marks Swami Vivekananda Jayanti
Various programs were held today to mark the 151st Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Local communities, social organizations and students groups organized events to celebrate the day.

An auditorium at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University was inaugurated on the occasion. Before that, students bathed the monument of Vivekananda and garlanded it. The inauguration of Swami Vivekananda auditorium was done by Vice Chancellor Prof. I.V Trivedi.
On the other hand, Kayasth Community gathered at Ayad Bridge at the idol of Swami Vivekanda and garlanded the monument. The program was organized by All India Kayasth Mahasabha.
Several blood donation programs were also organized today by different social and religious groups. Sindhi Yuvaz, Muslim Mahasabha and Lion’s Club conducted blood donation at their respective locations.
Sindhi Yuvaz organized the camp at Sanatan Dharm Mandir and collected more than 100 units of blood while Muslim Mahasabha and Lion’s Club did the blood donation camp at MB Hospital’s Blood Bank.
Muslim Mahasabha members informed that the camp was organized on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha started cricket tournament today at MB ground. The tournament was inaugurated by Panchayati Raj Minister Gulabchand Kataria. By the tournament, BJYM has also started the campaign ‘Khelega Yuva Jitega Bharat’ to encourage youth towards BJYM.
