The jewelers of Udaipur who are part of Shree Sarafa Association marked 100 years of their organization which was founded in the year 1914. To celebrate the occasion, a three day program has been organized starting from today consisting of social and cultural events.

Inder Singh Mehta, president of the association informed that from today till 12^th Jan, the association will organize several programs in the city including, blood donation camp, visiting hospital and distributing fruits to patients, kavi sammelan and honor ceremony etc.

Today on the first day of celebration, the organization conducted flag hoisting ceremony at Ghanta Ghar. The program was attended by Mayor Rajni Dangi. At evening, Aarti of Bharat Mata was organized, 108 earthen lamps were lighted to carry out the program.

Tomorrow on 11^th Jan, a blood donation camp will be organized at Bharbhuja Ghati. Mehta told UT that he hopes to get more than 100 units of blood. Tomorrow evening, an honor ceremony for senior jewelers will be organized.
