Udaipur, Jan 12, 2026 - The three-day storytelling festival Udaipur Tales, organised by Ma My Anchor Foundation, concluded on Sunday (January 11) at Park Exotica, Shilpgram Road, with the third and final day witnessing emotional and spiritual moments.

Geetika Lidder of Delhi narrated from her book I am a Soldier’s Wife which visibly moved every listener. Geetika’s husband Brigadier Lakhwinder Singh Lidder was martyred four years ago in a helicopter crash along with former CDS General Bipin Rawat and others. Her story told of how she gathered strength to rebuild herself and support her family after the tragedy. Through her story, the author conveyed a powerful message that no matter how adverse the situation, one must act with patience and courage.

Following this, storyteller Jyoti Pandey brought the Ramayana alive through her compelling narration — from Sita’s swayamvar, Ram’s exile to the battle with Ravana, Lakshman’s unconsciousness and Ravana’s defeat to the often-overlooked sacrifice of Urmila, wife of Lakshman.

Mikka Chesseron presented Israeli mythological stories of Jonah and the Whale through paintings and visuals, spreading awareness about environmental balance, forest conservation and compassion towards animals.
