The Udaipur Lakecity Round Table (ULRT-206) is organising Marathon ‘Run Udaipur Run-2013’, on 15^th September at Lake Fatehsagar, in joint association with United Round Table Club and Ladies’ Circle. The motto behind the marathon is raising funds for construction of school located in Bedla.

According to Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat of Round Table, “In this marathon, Round Table has invited various schools and colleges, including NCC, BSF and Indian Institute of Management (IIM-U). Although this is a fund raising event but no charges will be levied on participants, though they have to register for participating.”

Yudhveer Singh further informed that this 8.6 km marathon is sub divided into 5 categories, which will flag off from Pal at various time gaps as per categories. It would be taking a round of lake covering running through Rani Road, concluding back at Pal.

The five categories are as follows: first group 14-19yrs (both male & female), second would be 19-40 yrs (Men), third 19-40 yrs (women), fourth is above 41 yrs (men) and fifth would be women above 41 yrs. The winners of each category will be awarded prizes for completing this marathon.
