Udaipur – The Venice of the East mesmerized with melodies of world music as Udaipur World Music Festival started today with the first show took place at Fateh Sagar Paal.

With the first line up on Stage 1 at Fateh Sagar

Artists from Serbia, Netherlands and India, Aleksandar Simic, Saskia Rao – de Haas, Shubhendra Rao performed Instrumental Trio with the fusion of folk music of Netherlands, Yayavaro of Spain and Desh Raag.

This followed by the second striking performance of Jose Maria Gallardo Del Rey, popular guitarist from Spain which spell bounded the audience.

The last performance of the first half of the day was by Carminho from Portugal who performed first time in India and equally enjoyed while presenting her Fado songs

Organized by Hindustan Zinch, Wonder Cement and Udaipur Tourism, the event was produced and conceptualized by SEHER Organization.

Sanjeev Bhargava of SEHER with top officials of HZL, Wonder Cement and Tourism department also enjoyed the event.
