Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa have been roped in to provide a big bang start to Udaipur World Music Festival 2018. The third edition of Udaipur World Music Festival will be held from 9-Feb to 11-Feb 2018.

District Collector, Bishnu Charan Mallick, held a meeting today to ensure a successful organisation of the musical flagship event of the city. Mallick ordered that facilities related to cleanliness, sanitation, water, parking etc needed to be well planned and organised. He said that the successful organisation of the world class musical fiesta had given a distinct identity and fillip to city’s tourism.

Sanjeev Bhargava, from the organising partner, Seher, informed that the fiesta will begin with performance by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy on 9-Feb at Gandhi Ground at 8PM. This will be followed by performances by Indian & International musicians on 10-Feb and 11-Feb from 3pm to 5pm at Fatehsagar Paal and from 8pm onward at Gandhi Ground.

There will be no entry fees during the music fest. The musicians will be welcomed at airport and railway station by local musicians with their performance.
